Boat Safari in Rufiji River at Nyerere National Park

Your driver in Zanzibar will come earlier in the morning to the hotel and pick you up from there. He'll drive you straight to the first boat heading to Dar es Salaam which takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. You'll arrive then meet your driver/guide to pick you up from the ferry and drive you straight to Nyerere National Park which is known as (Selous Game Reserve). You will arrive there for lunch. So around late afternoon you will be taken to the river for boat safari till sunset and enjoy your boat riding safari looking at the hippos and crocodiles. You'll go back to the lodge and have dinner. Your night will be spent at Selous Mapumziko Lodge.

Full-Day Game Drive and Back to Dar Es Salaam

You will wake up early in the morning have breakfast then depart from the lodge with a packed lunch to the park. Selous is the largest park in Africa with a lot of famous animals some of which are rarely in any Tanzania national park such as greater kudu, and sable antelopes. Selous is the only park with a lot of water resources that benefit it having a lot of animals, vegetation, and beautiful landscapes. So during the evening, you will drive out of the park, board your flight from Selous, and fly directly to Zanzibar. You will find your driver in Zanzibar. He will take you back to your hotel.
