Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll embark on a game-viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit which winds through the plains to the south of the Seronera River. This area is known for potential sightings of lions, Thomson's gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. The Visitor Centre, located close to Serengeti Seronera Lodge, is a must-visit attraction following the morning's game drive.

In the afternoon, you'll follow the Kopjes Circuit which circumnavigates the Maasai Kopjes in an anti-clockwise direction. These kopjes, or weathered granite outcrops, are scattered throughout the plains and serve as miniature ecosystems, providing shade and pools of drinking water after the rains. They're particularly advantageous for spotting wildlife during the dry season, including lions, which often lie in wait for prey approaching the watering holes. The kopjes are also home to some impressively large cobras.
