Nairobi - Maasai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by your driver for a departure to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will be transferred to Wilson Airport for a domestic flight to Maasai Mara. Upon landing at the airstrip in the park, you will be received by your driver, taken to your hotel, check in and have a short rest before you proceed to enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before going back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will have two complete days of unlimited game drives. Starting in morning after breakfast, you will have spectacular whole day game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries.
Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Although it might be tempting to stay in bed and wait until the afternoon to explore, I promise you this is a game drive you don't want to miss.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Explore the depth and breadth of this famous park as much as you wish.
Your will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season – July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. At the river, we’ll see hippos but also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.
To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.

Wake up in the morning for breakfast and check out for a departure to Amboseli National Park. You will be transferred to the airstrip in Maasai Mara for a domestic flight to Nairobi where you will be received by another driver and proceed to Amboseli. Arrive in time for afternoon game drive, the park is famous for its herds of elephants, the Big Five, and the famous Africa highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli NP

You will spend time in the park in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebras, giraffes, hippos and big elephants. Amboseli is the home to great herds of elephants and with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro it is a favorite spot for photographers. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. During clear days, you may also view the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. There is also a chance to visit the local communities in their nearby villages. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Amboseli - Nairobi

On your last day, wake up very early to prepare for the morning game drive in the park. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast, then depart for Nairobi by road. Lunch will be served en-route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
