Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, check in and go through the security checkpoint where officials at the counter will check the required documents to verify your identity. You will go to the exit door where you will find a Kojuu Safaris driver guide with a signboard written with your name on it. He will meet you and take your luggage to our transfer vehicle and drive you to Arusha city.

On arrival at the hotel, our driver guide will assist you with the check-in process and the hotel porter will take your luggage to your room. You will freshen up after a long flight and later on, you will go down to the restaurant for dinner. Afterward, you can choose to relax in the facilities area, take photos and later on, go to your room.

Game drive Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your Kojuu Safaris driver guide and chef who will drive you to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for game viewing. Serengeti is an extremely large and wild game park that every traveler desires to see. Nearly 15,000 sq. km, this park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by the nomadic Maasai who are found here. Your mind will be boggled by the quantity of wildlife inside the Serengeti.

It is the home of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, African buffalo, and rhino). It is also famous for its annual migration and beautiful landscapes. This park is a treat to visit, not just for animals, but also for its vast and varied species. After the game viewing, you will drive to the lodge which is located inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park

The sound of Africa arouses you from sleep and you will freshen up and go to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and drive to the park for a full-day game drive. If you love animals, then the Serengeti is a good place to be. Here, you will find the real Mufasa, Nala, Simba, and Scar, thanks to the Disney film “The Lion King”. There are around 3,000 lions living in the Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot, not just because of their numbers, but also because they like to sleep under the trees for hours each day. In fact, lions can lounge around for about 20 hours a day.

The Serengeti also has bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, birds like kori bustards, Fischer’s lovebirds, and many others. Later in the evening, you will drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight. Tomorrow, the wonder of the crater awaits you.

Game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater

Have an early breakfast and drive to the 8th Wonder of the World for a full-day game drive spotting wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden" and is a well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. It is located 190km from Arusha town. Here, you will find many reasons why you chose to come on safari.

Firstly, there was a volcanic caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Inside the crater, you might spot animals such as leopard, lion, black rhino, hyena, zebra, waterbuck, baboon, and many others. Later, you will ascend the crater floor and drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Departure

After breakfast, you can relax at the swimming pool area. In the afternoon, you will be provided with lunch and later on, transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
