After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your Kojuu Safaris driver-guide will pick you up for a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. The park is named after the Tarangire River, a vital water source during the dry season that attracts large herds of elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and other wildlife. Known for its ancient baobab trees, dramatic landscapes, and rich biodiversity, Tarangire offers a more secluded safari experience compared to its neighboring parks. As you explore the park on a full-day game drive, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife and over 500 species of birds, all set against a backdrop of rolling savannahs and towering termite mounds.
