Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti

Arusha to Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Arusha at 7:15 am for an exciting road transfer to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 8 hours, including stops along the way, and passes through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the route, you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai village (optional) and learn about the culture of the Maasai people for their traditions.
Arriving at the Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive in the Seronera area, the heart of the park. This is an ideal time to see wildlife at its most active, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps predators on the hunt. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you will witness breathtaking views of the savannah and its wildlife before heading to the Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight. From the camp, you may even spot animals like hyenas roaming nearby, all under the careful protection of park rangers.

Day 2

Serengeti - Ngorongoro highlands

After breakfast at your camp, the day begins with an early morning game drive across the Serengeti’s savannah grasslands. Explore the diverse ecosystems and spot a wide range of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and antelopes. Following the morning drive, you will continue with a day-long game drive, tracking wildlife and photographing the dramatic landscapes that make the Serengeti one of Africa’s top safari destinations.

After lunch, you will transfer to the Ngorongoro Simba campsite, enjoying en route game viewing as you travel. Along the way, there’s an optional visit to another Maasai village to experience traditional culture and interact with the local community. Arrive at the campsite in the late afternoon and prepare for dinner and overnight stay, while taking in the beautiful Ngorongoro highlands and the surrounding wildlife. From the camp, animals such as hyenas can often be observed in the vicinity, with rangers ensuring your safety.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:15 am for a morning of game viewing on the crater floor. The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to over 25,000 animals and nearly all species of East African savannah wildlife, including the Big Five. Your main focus will be searching for the elusive black rhinoceros, while also spotting elephants, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and more.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will continue with a game drive before ascending back to the rim. From here, you will begin the return drive to Arusha town or Kilimanjaro Airport, concluding your unforgettable 3-day safari adventure through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
