Lake Manyara National Park

We recommend an early morning viewing of the sunrise from your tented camp in Tarangire National Park before heading to Lake Manyara. At Lake Manyara, thousands of flamingos flock to feed, large herds of giraffes roam, and elephants walk up to vehicles to look closer at guests. However, Lake Manyara is perhaps best known for its famous tree-climbing lions!

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater, a 16km (10mi) wide crater, formed thousands of years ago and hosts an incredible number of birds and animals due to the diversity of habitats in the crater. The best time to view wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater is in the morning. Watch the hippos head back to the pond after their evening grazing.
