Lake Manyara National Park

After a well-deserved good night's sleep, you will wake up early to an exceptional breakfast at the hotel. You'll be gearing up in the luxurious safari vehicle and start your journey to Lake Manyara, where thousands of flamingos flock to feed, large herds of giraffes roam, and elephants walk up to the vehicle for a spectacle to behold. Lake Manyara is perhaps best known for its famous tree-climbing lions!

Ngorongoro Crater

We recommend an early morning start to Ngorongoro Crater, a 10-mile-wide crater formed thousands of years ago and host to an incredible number of coexisting birds and animals due to the diversity of habitat in the crater. After viewing the sunset from the Instagrammable Ngorongoro Crater lookout, you will head to the luxurious tented camp for a delicious dinner.

Flight to Kigoma

You'll take a mid-day flight to Kigoma and enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel overlooking Lake Tanganyika. Lake Tanganyika is the longest freshwater lake in the world and the second deepest. The immense depth is because it lies in the Great Rift Valley. Also a birder's paradise.

Note: This portion of the tour is only available on certain days of the week and has to be planned accordingly. Depending on your arrival in Tanzania, you may need a buffer day to catch the flight to Kigoma.

Gombe National Park for Chimpanzee Trekking

You'll start your trip at sunrise by boarding a dhow boat from the hotel’s private beach. You'll meet your guide as you cruise along the shores of Lake Tanganyika to the main entrance of Gombe Stream National Park. You'll spend the day in Gombe with the chimpanzees. Your overnight stay will be in the jungle and wake up to the echoing calls of the chimpanzees.
