Pickup from your Hotel in Arusha at 08:30Am and drive to Lake Natron, on the way visit Maasai Village to experience Maasai culture and lifestyle for local people, lunch and Goat trading soup with Maasai Dancing at Maasai village. After lunch enjoy Maasai Dance till 16:00 drive to Lake Natron for dinner and overnight at worldview campsite.

Lake Natron and waterfalls

After breakfast drive to near to Ngarasero river, you can take a beautiful walk to the Engare Sero gorge where there are waterfalls and springs, where you can swim and cool off. This oasis is a beautiful mix of tropical palm trees and volcanic rocks.

After lunch walk to the car and drive to Lake Natron, the perfect breeding place for Flamingos
Flamingos find a safe breeding ground at Lake Natron, since most other animals find its caustic environment and high temperature of the lake (up to 60°C) as well as its high salinity inhospitable.

It therefore provides a good barrier against predators trying to reach nests on seasonal evaporation islands. Every year, more than two million flamingos come here to lay their eggs and chicks.

Cyanobacteria are increasing with the salinity of the water, and the lake can carry more nests. Larger flamingos also breed in the Warden Sea. Lake Natron is also home to some endemic algae. Dinner and overnight at worldviewcamp for dinner and overnight.

Climb Mt Oldonyo Lengai 9442ft/2878mt volcanic active mountain

At 1.00am have a cup of coffee, and meet Maasai English speaking Mountain guide who will guide you to the Summit, then drive to the Mt Ol Donyo Lengai climbing starting point,

It is hard and steep, you have to be a mountaineer, there is climbing on the rocks, climb with your Maasai English speaking mountain guide up to the Mt Ol Donyolengai Summit 9442 ft / 2878m see Volcanic eruption.

From Summit view the magnificent landscape of the wonderful Ngorongoro Crater, Mt Longido, Lake Natron, Maasai Bush-land, Mt Kitumbeine, Mt Kerimasi etc

After sunrise descend down slowly to the starting point, the driver will wait you there and drive back to the camp for Lunch. Then drive back to your Hotel in Arusha.
