Day 1

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our company representatives for a meet and greet and later travel to Samburu National Reserve. You will pass through Kikuyu plantations via Mount Kenya through Isiolo arriving in the afternoon for check-in and lunch at the Samburu Simba Lodge. Later, you will be driven to the reserve for game drives. You will be able to see the special five wild animals such as the gerenuk, the Grevy’s zebra, elephants, and the Rothschild giraffe among others. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

Explore Samburu National Reserve

You will go for a morning game drive before breakfast at the lodge. You will go for a camel trekking safari and village visit to interact with the Samburu people and culture. Afterward, you will have your lunch at the lodge to relax. You will go for afternoon and evening game drives. You will visit buffalo springs, a home for over 390 bird species like the acacia tit, ashy cisticola, African swifts, etc. You will go for a nature walk and enjoy the sunset around the Ewaso Nyiro river banks. Your dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3

Samburu National Reserve - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, you will depart Samburu for Ol Pejeta arriving in the afternoon. Check in at Sweet Waters Serena Camp for lunch and immediate game drives are taken. Ol Pejeta is a conservancy well known for the protection of endangered species of animals, especially the white rhinos, elephants, etc. It is the only place here in Kenya where you will see chimps. Dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park with game en route. You will arrive in good time for check-in to Lake Nakuru Lodge and lunch followed by the afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for its thousands if not millions of flamingos that reside on the lake. The flamingos make the lake waters look pink when their colour reflects on the waters. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you shall leave for Hell's Gate National Park. Here you can walk or ride a bicycle to interact with the wild animals up close. Continue to Kongoni Lodge for lunch. Later, enjoy a boat ride in the lake to view hippos in the water and the birds that surround the lake. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

You shall head to Masai Mara early morning after breakfast. Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti in Tanzania known for the famous wildebeest migration from Tanzania to Mara. Mara is the greatest adventurous wilderness in Africa. It’s a home for the Big Five (leopard, rhino, elephant, lion, cheetah) and many prolific birds. You shall check in to Mara Jambo Lodge, have lunch and go for an afternoon game drive returning to the same lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
