Day 1

You'll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to a meet-up location to meet the group members and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will travel via road through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch and refueling. After lunch, you'll leave Narok and drive to the reserve, arriving at the camp. You'll check in and relax for a few minutes. You'll proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve Game Drive

Masai Mara National Reserve Game Drive

After breakfast, you'll proceed on a full day of wildlife viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close-range viewing and photography. You'll break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. You'll continue with the game drive till 5:00 pm for a visit to the Maasai village, which is optional. Your dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

You'll have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, you'll depart the Mara region for Nakuru. You'll have lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longonot, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in Nakuru town in the evening. Your dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife, including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline—enjoy a hot lunch and drive to Naivasha —you have an option to take a boat ride in this freshwater lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at extra cost. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

After breakfast, you'll have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle at an extra cost. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's eagles, Augur buzzards, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelles, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chalmer's Mountain Reedbuck–enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You'll be dropped back at the Nairobi hotel or airport.
