Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, seasonal swamps and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, enter the park and begin an exciting game drive through diverse landscapes. Watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area while surrounded by Tanzania’s beautiful wilderness. Continue with an afternoon game drive, taking time to explore different areas of the park and enjoy excellent wildlife and photography opportunities. In the late afternoon, exit Tarangire and drive to Twiga Campsite. Enjoy dinner and relax around the campsite before spending the night under the African sky.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and depart towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Descend into the crater for a morning game drive across the crater floor, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. The crater’s dramatic walls and diverse habitats create an unforgettable safari setting. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing to explore the crater and its wildlife. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha. Arrive in the evening, marking the end of your memorable 2-day Tanzania safari.
