Day 1

You'll be picked up at the place of staying in Dar es Salaam or the point of arrival and transferred to the train station to board the train departing at 6:00 or 9:30 to Morogoro Town. You'll arrive in Morogoro at 7:45 or 11:15 am, meet with your safari guide, and depart to Mikumi National Park by road (1-5 hours drive from Morogoro), nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest. The park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is suitable for a short visit. After arrival at Mikumi National Park, you have the opportunity to embark on game drives around the park till sunset. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian or Similar. Meal plan: Lunch and dinner.

Day 2

Game Drive Mikumi|Dar es Salaam

You'll wake up early morning for a cup of coffee and visit the Maasai village near Camp Bastian, where you can learn about their culture, traditions, and daily life, while potentially participating in activities like milking cows or watching a traditional dance. You'll go back to the camp for breakfast and go for another wildlife viewing drive in the park. Common animals to be seen are giraffes, elephants, buffalo, impalas, lions, elands, wildebeest, zebras, and troops of baboons, entertaining to watch in the park. Lunch will be at the park. After lunch, you'll continue with a game drive till 4:00 pm, where you will leave the park to Morogoro Town. You'll arrive at 6:00 pm, and board the train which departs at 7:25 pm to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive at 9:10 pm, meet, and transfer to the place of stay or the airport. Meal plan: Breakfast and lunch.
