Pick up from your Hotel in DAR and transfer to Dar airport for your scheduled flight Air Tanzania to Kigoma at 07:30 am Arrive at Kigoma airport at 09:40 am Time be readvised on the booking date
Pick up on arrival and transfer to Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe (2 hours Sharing boat). Pick up on arrival and transfer to the camp, lunch at the camp. Afterward, proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest.

Besides chimpanzees, primates inhabiting Gombe Stream national park include beachcomber olive baboons, red colobus, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and velvet monkeys. Red-tailed monkeys and blue monkeys also hybridize in the area.

The park is also home to over 200 bird species and bushpigs. There are also many species of snakes, and occasional hippopotami and leopards. Visitors to the park can trek into the forest to view the chimpanzees, as well as swim and snorkel in Lake Tanganyika with almost 100 kinds of colorful cichlid fish.

At 08h30, Start Chimpanzee tracking in the forest, Gombe became well known for the conservation project started by Jane Goodall, who first arrived in Gombe in 1960.
Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests, like velvet, Colobus monkeys, and baboons, visit Kakombe Waterfalls and Climb to Jane’s Peak.
