Day 1

Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park - Boat Safari

Meet and greet our professional safari guide at your hotel or the airport. After a short briefing, you start the 6-hour journey toward Nyerere National Park. Arrive for lunch at the camp and then proceed to the river for a boat safari at 16h00 until sunset.

Along the Rufiji River, flocks of birds, hippos and crocodiles are easily seen. After the sunset, you will be taken back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp or similar.

Day 2

Nyerere National Park halfday - Drive back to Dar es Salaam

On this day, you will have an early breakfast at around 06h00 and then proceed with a game drive in the park until lunchtime. This park is rich with different species of animals such as impalas, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and many more. For bird watchers, this is the best place as more than 400 bird species can be found.

After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive as you head to the main gate for check-out before starting your journey back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped off at your hotel, the airport or the seaport.
