You will be picked up at the hotel at 8:00 am after breakfast and drive for 5 to 6 hours to Nyerere National Park (Selous). Upon your arrival, you will have a hot lunch at the camp, followed by a short rest. At 4 pm, enjoy an evening boat safari on the Rufiji River for 2 to 3 hours. There, you will find a variety of bird species, as well as crocodiles and hippos, during your boat safari. In the evening, you will have an overnight stay at Africa Safari Selous Camp.

You will have breakfast in your accommodation, followed by full-day game drives in the reserve. Selous is home to a large population of elephants, a large number of buffalos and wild dogs. Other species commonly seen are lions, bushbucks, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, kudus and crocodiles.

Day 3
Nyerere to Mikumi National Park

Morning: You will be picked up from the hotel, driven to Mloka Village, and arrive at the meeting point. On the final day of your safari, you will embark on a unique and immersive walking safari guided by a knowledgeable Bushman tracker. This experience will allow you to discover the hidden wonders of the African bush on foot, exploring the intricacies of the ecosystem, and learning about the traditional hunting and survival techniques used by the local communities.
Afternoon: Depart from Nyerere National Park and transfer to Mikumi National Park. On this day, we have the chance to visit the Maasai Village in Mikumi.
Evening: Arrive at Mikumi National Park and check in at your chosen accommodation. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the lodge or camp.

Evening: Return to your accommodation in Mikumi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning: Enjoy a half-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, offering a final chance to observe its diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes while spotting animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of birdlife.
Afternoon: After lunch, depart the park and transfer to the nearby SGR train station for your comfortable high-speed train journey to Dar es Salaam, enjoying relaxing views along the way.
Evening: Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel or onward destination, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
