Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park for the Afternoon Private Safari

Pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your domestic flight to Mtemere Airstrip, Nyerere National Park (approximately 1hr flight). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the camp, Siwandu is located in a grove of palms on the shore of Lake Nzerakera. As you arrive at Siwandu, the team will welcome you with a short orientation briefing. You will have time to settle into your tent alongside the lake.
A delicious lunch will be served with stunning views over the lake. Before leaving on your first game activity, you will enjoy delicious freshly-baked treats during afternoon tea time. Siwandu is perfectly situated within the prime game viewing area to fully experience the abundant wildlife of Nyerere National Park (former Selous Game Reserve). It is the only place in East Africa where you can experience both land and water-based game activities. This afternoon you will enjoy a private safari in open sided 4WD.

Full day Private Safari in Nyerere National Park (Boat Safari included)

Today you will start the day off with a tray of morning tea or coffee delivered to your tent by your personal butler. After breakfast you will have the opportunity to explore the Park with your experienced guide for your morning activity. Back at camp you can enjoy the pool area. Later in the afternoon, you depart for a pontoon lunch and proceed with the boat safari. After an afternoon of exploring Nyerere National Park you will return to camp to enjoy pre-dinner drinks around the camp fire, followed by a delectable three-course dinner served under a canopy of stars.
