You will be taken on two game drives today—in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as this is when they are most active. These times of day also provide some of the most dramatic photography thanks to the beautiful lighting. If you are fortunate enough, you will spot some lions and get to watch some of the social interaction between pride members—especially the lion clubs playing under the watchful eyes of their mothers. The reserve is also famous for the wildebeest migration. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, where you will arrive at mid-morning. You will take a boat ride (optional activity at extra cost) into lake Naivasha in the afternoon for bird watching and enjoy the breeze and tranquility. Hippo is also available here. The shores are teeming with birdlife, including pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles, which have a haunting cry. You can also visit Crescent island where you can walk among wild animals and enjoying them up-close. This is because this island doesn’t have any predators that can attack either the animals or the humans, so walks on the Island very close to the animals are very common.
