Explore Maasai Mara
After breakfast, we'll have a full day game drive with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. Your will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season – July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them.
You can also choose to take part in an early morning hot air balloon safari or visit a nearby Masai village to understand their culture and take part in their jumping dance, at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your camp.
