Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Your driver-guide reports to your hotel for the start of the safari, then departs on a picturesque drive down the Great Rift Valley and onwards to the Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from outer space. Arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot the magnificent wildlife in the park.

Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of the Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. Dinner and overnight will be at Ilkeliani Camp.

Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments to the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive in the flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. We will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park, including visits to viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities.

Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes, and its ecosystem supports a wide range of ecological diversity, with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other waterbirds as the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem supports about 56 species of mammals, including white rhinos and buffaloes, and a variety of terrestrial birds, numbering nearly 450 species. Dinner and overnight will be at Mbweha Camp.

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

We will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things: majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. It is also one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. Dinner and overnight are at Tulia Camp.

Explore Amboseli National Park

Today, you are treated to a full day in Amboseli National Park. Game drives will take place in the morning and afternoon, allowing you to explore the park and have magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will also see large herds of elephants, which are a hallmark of this park.

Amboseli National Park is popular with breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and reliably good elephant viewing. Nature lovers can explore 5 different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community, who live around the park, and experience their authentic culture. Animals to be found at the park include leopard, cheetah, wild dog, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudu, and the nocturnal porcupine. There is also prolific birdlife, with 600 species.

All your meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

In the morning, after breakfast at the resort, you have an option of going for a tour or spending time on the warm sandy beaches. The Kenyan coastline is a superb location to rejuvenate before returning home. It takes you to a majestic tropical paradise of blue-green waters lapping at long, soft sand beaches with so much to offer. With almost 17 kilometers of pristine white sand, cerulean water, and waving palm trees, this picture-perfect beach hugs the shores of the warm Indian Ocean. There are coral reefs to explore, and the sand bars make it perfect for swimming and many other watersports.
