Day 1

After leaving Nairobi via the Thika super highway takes you through the lush green hills of the Kiambu Highlands, passing by small villages and farms. As you continue north, the landscape becomes more arid, with scattered acacia trees and scrub land.

After about 2.5 hours, you will reach the town of Isiolo, which is a good place to stop for fuel. From Isiolo, the highway continues north through the semi-arid Samburu region.

The road is generally good, but there may be some potholes and rough patches, especially in the last hour of the drive. As you approach Samburu National Reserve, you will start to see more wildlife, such as zebras, giraffes, and gazelle. On arrival you will be welcomed at your lodge with a sumptuous lunch and later go for a sunset safari.

Day 2

Wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside your lodge window. You quickly get dressed and grab a quick cup of coffee, then head out to meet your safari guide.
Your guide drives you off into the Samburu National Reserve, still dark and quiet. As the sun begins to rise, the landscape comes to life. You see herds of zebras, elephants, and lions.
You stop to watch a family of giraffes feeding. Their long necks graceful and mesmerizing.
You spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You also have the opportunity to visit a nearby Samburu village(optional) to learn about the local culture
As the sun begins to set, the sky is ablaze with color, you go out and may spot lions or a leopard on their kill, gerenuks, the beisa oryx dik diks the eland grevy zebra are also seen here
The game drive ends as the sun sets behind the hills. You return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Rise up early in the morning for a sunrise game drive, driving along the Uaso Nyiro river as the animals wake up and head for a morning drink and also a morning meal. You will be able to hear the morning call of birds as they chirp away.
After the game drive you will return to the lodge for a quick breakfast and departure.
Dive up the timau hills with a very close view of mount Kenya into the rolling central highlands and head straight to the aberdare national park in time for lunch. This is the place where the freedom war was fought for many years by the mau mau.
After lunch you will head out for a game drive in the tropical rain forests where you will see mountain elephants wild boars forest buffalo among the many birds in this lush forest. At sunset you will get back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

The drive from Aberdare National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park is a scenic journey through Kenya's diverse landscapes. Starting in the lush, misty forests of Aberdare, you descend into the Great Rift Valley. The winding road offers breathtaking views of the Rift Valley's expansive savanna, scattered with wildlife. Along the way, you might spot baboons, zebras, and giraffes. As you approach Lake Nakuru, the landscape transitions into a water wonderland, with pink flamingos gracing the lake.
