Wake up to the spectacular sight of Mount Kilimanjaro glowing in the morning light before setting off for an early game drive, when wildlife is most active. Amboseli is famous for its vast herds of free-ranging elephants, often seen against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest mountain. As you explore, you’ll also encounter lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and an impressive variety of bird species.

Return to your lodge for breakfast and enjoy some leisure time before venturing out again in the afternoon. After breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli’s towering Kilimanjaro views and begin your scenic journey north toward Lake Nakuru. Travel through the heart of Kenya’s countryside, passing charming rural towns, lush farmlands, and sections of the dramatic Great Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes—from open savannahs to rolling hills—offering glimpses of everyday life in rural Kenya.
