Arusha to Tarangire Scenic Safari Adventure

At 07:30 hrs, your professional driver-guide will warmly welcome you at your hotel in Arusha as your safari adventure begins. You will then depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours (about 120 km) through rural landscapes and Maasai villages. Famous for its giant elephant herds and seasonal wildlife migration—when up to 250,000 animals move through the area—Tarangire offers dramatic scenery of ancient baobab trees and open savannahs teeming with life. Upon arrival at the gate, formalities will be completed before your adventure begins. Set off on an exciting en-route game drive, exploring diverse habitats filled with elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife as you make your way toward the lodge. Arrive in the afternoon for check-in, surrounded by the sounds of the wild and the start of an unforgettable safari experience.

From Tarangire to Serengeti National Park Adventure

After breakfast, depart from Tarangire National Park and begin your scenic journey to the Central Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours, depending on road conditions and wildlife sightings along the way. Travel through ever-changing landscapes, from fertile highlands and rural villages to the vast open plains of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy en-route game viewing, with chances to spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, antelopes, and predators such as lions and cheetahs roaming freely across the plains. Pause at a scenic picnic site inside the park for lunch before continuing deeper into the heart of the Serengeti. Arrive in the Central Serengeti in the late afternoon and settle into your camp. After time to relax and take in the sounds of the wild, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay under the African sky.

For diving enthusiasts, there are several excellent dive sites in the area, including the renowned Mnemba Island Conservation Area, known for its crystal-clear waters and diverse underwater ecosystem. If you are interested in deep-sea fishing, Zanzibar is considered by experts to offer some of the best fishing grounds in the world, particularly in the Pemba Channel between Unguja and Pemba Island.
