The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting a diverse range of wildlife seeking relief from the African heat. Keep an eye out for giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, as well as buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests—often trailed by predators like lions and leopards.

From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll have uninterrupted views of the breathtaking landscape and its abundant wildlife. Midway through the day, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, complete with coffee and soft drinks. Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will ascend the crater highlands, pausing at the rim for a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing toward the vast, seemingly endless plains of the Serengeti. The name "Serengeti" means "endless plains," and this iconic landscape is home to over two million wildebeest and a rich diversity of wildlife.

From January to April, the plains come alive as wildebeest, plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles give birth to their young, attracting large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas that follow the migration in search of prey. The region is also teeming with smaller creatures, including rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the presence of over 500 species.

After an exhilarating day of wildlife viewing, you will return to camp to enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

You will rise early for a sunrise game drive, the perfect chance to see wildlife at its most active and witness a breathtaking African sunrise—one of nature’s most awe-inspiring sights. Afterward, you’ll return to camp for breakfast, check out, and depart for the Ngorongoro Crater.

This vast crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world, including nearly every species native to East Africa, such as the rare black rhino. Its diverse landscape features rivers, swamps, a shimmering soda lake, dense forests, and open grasslands. You’ll also encounter large bull elephants with exceptionally long tusks, thanks to the mineral-rich volcanic soil and grasses.

During your game drive, you’ll pause for lunch in this remarkable setting. After a full day of exploration, you’ll ascend to the crater rim and continue to your Camp. Once checked in, you can relax over dinner before settling in for a restful overnight stay.
