Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, followed by a 5–6 hour drive (230 km) to Nyerere National Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve. Enjoy scenic views of rural landscapes and villages along the way. Upon arrival, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Africa’s largest protected wildlife area, known for its vast wilderness and fewer crowds. Expect to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife across savannah and riverine habitats. After the game drive, transfer to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
