Depart Nairobi for a magical drive descending into the Great Rift Valley and onwards to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous safari destination. En route, pause briefly at the Rift Valley Viewpoint to admire sweeping vistas of this vast geological wonder, said to be visible even from outer space. Continue your journey and arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Afterward, set out on an afternoon game drive across the Mara’s rolling plains, where magnificent wildlife awaits. Bordering Tanzania, the reserve forms the northern extension of the Serengeti and serves as a vital corridor for the Great Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events. Along the Mara River, hippos and crocodiles thrive, while the reserve’s healthy predator population ensures excellent sightings of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Rise early in the morning when the animals are most active for a morning game drive with your guide. This is yet another bush experience that will surely create lifetime memories. One of the most sought after safari experiences is coming across the big cats during a game drive. If you are fortunate enough you will catch lions during one of their rare bouts of daytime activities. It can be fascinating to watch the social interaction between pride members especially the playful ways of lion cubs under the watchful eyes of their mothers. Return to the camp for a mouthwatering breakfast. Your guide will then take you to the nearby Masai village at an extra cost where you will get a chance to see the Masai way of life (optional). Return to the camp for lunch before setting out for an evening game drive where you will be driven over rolling grassland dotted with a mixture of acacia trees and the plain game which includes large herds of elephants, zebras, gazelles.

You will be taken on two game drives today, in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography. Although it might be tempting to stay in bed and wait until the afternoon to explore, I promise you this is a game drive you don't want to miss. This is a bush experience that will surely create lifetime memories. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.

After breakfast depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift valley. Arrive in the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

After breakfast, you will check out and depart from Lake Nakuru National Park, driving through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Naivasha. The journey offers beautiful views of farmlands, escarpments, and volcanic formations along the way. By mid‑day, you arrive at the tranquil freshwater lake, a jewel of the Rift Valley surrounded by acacia woodlands. After check‑in and lunch, take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon exploration. A boat ride across the calm waters reveals hippos wallowing near the reeds, fish eagles soaring overhead, and kingfishers darting across the surface. The lake is a paradise for birdwatchers, with pelicans, herons, and over 350 species recorded. Later, visit nearby Crescent Island, where giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roam freely without predators, offering a unique safari experience. By sunset, return to the lodge for dinner, immersed in the serene beauty of Lake Naivasha.

We will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up-close. On a clear evening you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

This being a full day in the Amboseli, you will have the option of a full day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is the home to great herds of elephants and with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro it is a favorite spot for photographers. Also to be found in the Amboseli are herds of wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles and many other wildlife. Lions and cheetahs can also be seen here. During clear days, you may also view the Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest mountain in Africa. There is also a chance to visit the local communities in their nearby villages at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Proceed to Tsavo East National Park after breakfast in search of its popular residents. During the day, you will enjoy a packed lunch and a visit to the Aruba Dam. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300-kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

You will have an early breakfast and by 7:00 am transfer to Emali Railway Station for the Madaraka Express train to Mombasa departing at 9:34 am. You will arrive in Mombasa at 2:00 pm, be received by your driver, and transferred to Diani Beach which is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. On arrival, you will transfer to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

For this day you will be at the beach, you will spend your time at leisure enjoying the hotel's facilities. Diani has a population of around 100,000 inhabitants and is famous for its white sand beaches and blue ocean. The beach is popular for relaxing resorts which are popular with honeymooners, backpackers, and families on holiday. Try a camel ride for the tourist experience or book a bike tour inland for a glimpse of life in local villages. Inland from the beach, there is extensive vegetation including numerous palm trees which cover the coastal areas.
The general area is known for its coral reefs, black-and-white Colobus monkeys, and for the closely located Shimba Hills National Reserve, a wildlife reserve that looks out over the Indian Ocean. Diani Beach has restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and several shopping centers. The beach is also a popular kitesurfing, jet skiing, and snorkelling location. All meals will be served at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ukunda airport, where you will make a domestic connecting flight to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
Suppose your outbound flight only departs late evening, we can arrange for a late check-out from the hotel. You will fly to JKIA with enough time for check-in (usually leave around 3-4 hours for this activity).
