Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after all the formalities, you shall be welcomed by our safari guide, who will then drive you to your hotel for an overnight. Depending on the time you arrive, you may choose to go for a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria which starts from Entebbe late afternoon, you will cruise by boat out towards the equator line or local islands to view the sun over the horizon. Watch the fishermen cast their nets and enjoy the snacks and drinks provided on board.

Day 2

Drive to Mgahinga National Park

Drive to Mgahinga National Park

Your driver guide will pick you from the Hotel/Entebbe and then you start your scenic 5 Days Uganda Hiking Mountain sabinyo trip to Mgahinga National Park. You will stop at the the Equator for photograph and later for en route lunch before you proceed to Mgahinga National Park, and you will arrive late evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Early Morning Hiking of Mt Sabinyo

Today, you will start the hike to the top of Mount Sabinyo, a Virunga Volcano that you can only access its summit from the park. The summit of the mountain lies at 3,645 meters (11,959 ft), marks the intersection of the borders of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, and Uganda. The slopes of Mt. Sabinyo are a habitat for the critically endangered mountain gorillas.

You will see the rugged nature of the terrain along the Sabinyo slopes that has many craters with sharp ridges. The Mount Sabinyo hike is a one-day hike involving 4 hours to the summit and 4 hours back and this depends on the pace and weather conditions. Walking sticks are provided for free meanwhile the porters are available for hire. You will go through vegetation ranges from the bamboo zone between 2400 – 2800m. After ascending to its park, have some rest and your packed lunch. Start descending the mountain. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elisabeth National Park, enjoy a game drive on your way in. Named after her Majesty the Queen of England, the park is Uganda’s most famous national park and traveler’s destination. The park’s sites include several beautiful crates lakes that winding through the rolling hills, the panoramic display of the Kazinga Channel. The park stretches from the crater-dotted foothills of the Rwenzori range in the north, along the shores of Lake Edward to the remote Ishasha River in the south, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savanna and wetlands and lowland forest. Arrive later at the lodge for an overnight and dinner.

Day 5

Today you will head out for an early Morning Game Drive in the park, there are over 100 mammal species in the park that include Lions, Spotted Hyena, Elephants, Hippos, Buffaloes, the elusive Giant Forest Hog and Leopard. The Primates include Blue, Black faced Red Colobus, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Red tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons. In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel, you will enjoy the fresh river breeze whilst observing a large selection of animal’s and views of numerous flora and fauna while on the launch cruise. The shore of this channel attracts a great number of wild animals like the hippos, elephants, crocodiles, antelopes and others which makes the channel a marvelous place that draws many visitors on a wildlife safari in Uganda. The boat cruise takes about 2-3 hours and is a spectacular experience along the channel as you explore more about African wildlife like birds, animals, reptiles among others.

Day 6

Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, you will start your drive back to Entebbe. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful thick vegetation view of southwestern Uganda, the hills as well the terraces. Later on, you will arrive at the Airport and take your flight back home.
