A morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, a short trip of just over an hour, marks the start of your vacation. Your safari guide will meet you at Arusha Airport and take you on a picturesque 2.5- to 3-hour drive through the Tanzanian countryside to Tarangire National Park. As you reach the park, Tarangire greets you with its magnificent baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. The game drive starts immediately, giving you the chance to see a wide range of animals, such as buffalo, zebras, and giraffes, in addition to a remarkable number of bird species. Keep an eye out for these elusive animals because the park is also home to predators like lions and leopards.

Into the Crater
Into the Crater
After an early breakfast, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, arriving after a scenic 1.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for an unforgettable game drive. Home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including Africa’s Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards—the crater offers one of the best safari experiences in the world. As you explore its diverse landscapes of grasslands, forests, and soda lakes, expect close-up encounters with animals in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha and board your evening flight back to Zanzibar, wrapping up an extraordinary 2-day journey through Tanzania’s most iconic wilderness.
