Day 2

From Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

From Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Waken by marching elephant and sounds of birds. Have breakfast at your lodge. Check out and drive through the cool Rift Valley environment towards Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
L. Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake. Located in the middle of the Rift valley, L. Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild Giraffe, Lions, White and Black rhinos as well as the Leopard. All these can be spotted depending on your luck. The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both Greater and lesser flamingoes has made this lake their home. Dinner and overnight at Rock hyrax hotel.

Day 3

From Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National reserve

From Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National reserve

After breakfast at the lodge, we head southwards toward Masai Mara National Reserve where we will arrive in time for lunch. You have time to relax before the afternoon game drive in the reserve.

An exploratory drive around the 1,792 square kilometer game park displays low hills and savannah-type rolling grasslands, a gallery forest on the Mara River, and its tributaries. Get introduced to the park's herbivores like elephant, rhino, buffalo, various antelope, the Maasai giraffe, and Burchell's zebra. The carnivores you will encounter include the black-maned lion, cheetah, and leopard. Also seen are the largest bird, the Maasai ostrich, the secretary bird, the crested crane, and the saddle-billed stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river.

We return to the lodge by sunset and enjoy our dinner and overnight stay at the Jambo mara safari lodge on a full-board basis.

Optional early morning balloon safari ride across the Maasai Mara plain. Breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males. Where great Migration over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. You are also likely to see many elephants here often in large herds, as well as if you're lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. You will have early morning breakfast. Then depart to Isibania Border with packed lunch, on your way to Serengeti National Park. Upon reaching the border finalise with immigration department. Then exchange the vehicle – which you will be using while in Tanzania. Embark with the journey to park where you will arrive in the evening. You will arrive at your camp at time for dinner and relaxing at Kananga special tented camp – Full board.

These two full days you will explore central Serengeti, with Morning and afternoon game drives. After breakfast leaves at your lodge with package lunch (or have lunch at the lodge) have game drive in the park and arrive at your lodge in late afternoon or on your request.

The crater With walls 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest and open plains.
