Begin your journey early, heading north as your vehicle winds through scenic mountain passes. Enjoy a final panoramic view of Lake Natron before leaving the Rift Valley behind. Pass through the village of Wasso on your way to the Serengeti, entering the park around midday via Kleins Gate. Your adventure begins with an exciting game drive in the Lobo area, known for its rich wildlife—including leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, and zebras—sustained by year-round springs and a landscape of open plains and rocky kopjes. Conclude the day at your lodge or camp for a well-earned rest.

Today, embark on a half-day game drive in the Serengeti, offering more chances to spot incredible wildlife. After lunch, journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll spend the night at Simba Public Campsite. All meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—are included, along with daily drinking water. Just an hour from Seronera lies prime lion territory, especially during the Dry season when prides gather in the central region. This area is also renowned for leopard sightings, particularly near the sausage trees along the Seronera River. Keep your eyes peeled—you may be lucky enough to spot one of these elusive cats lounging in the branches.

Day 5

Start your day with an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Often called the Eighth Natural Wonder of the World, this massive volcanic caldera is the largest intact of its kind on Earth. Formed over 2 million years ago, its 600-meter-high walls enclose a rich ecosystem spanning 19 km, including acacia forests, grassy plains, and hippo-filled swamps. The crater is home to over 30,000 animals, such as elephants, flamingos, warthogs, rare black rhinos, and all the big cats. You might even see Maasai herders grazing cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest. Enjoy lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. After your adventure, head to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at the cozy Fig Tree Lodge.
