Transfer to Kidepo

A driver guide from our company will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and take you to either Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield where you will embark on a two-hour scenic flight that will allow you to see Uganda’s beautiful and changing landscape. Upon landing at Kidepo Valley Airfield, you will be picked up by our focal person at the park.
You will then be leisurely transferred to your lodge in a drive that will feel like a short game drive. While at the lodge, you will freshen up, have lunch, relax/swim, and wait for your afternoon game drive.
During the afternoon game drive you will take you to spot several wildlife including, Zebras, buffaloes, elephants, water bucks, and if luck permits, Lions and Leopards.

Morning game drive and Karamajong community Visit

After an early-morning breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on to a game drive along the different tracks in the Narus Valley. Every game drive is different and you will see a variety of mammals and different bird species that you probably didn’t see in the first game drive.
Kidepo is a beautiful park and you will be amazed by the landscape and unspoiled wilderness.
Take enough photos before returning to your lodge for lunch and a swim.

In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Karamojong people. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who migrated from Ethiopia in the 1600s and who live in unique houses called manyattas.
Their leaders will explain to you things related to their culture and entertain you with their traditional songs and dances.

Game drive to Kidepo Valley and Hot springs Visit

After an early breakfast, you will head to the Kidepo Valley section of the park. You will pass through the Narus Valley again on your way to the Kidepo Valley where you will spot more mammals, ostriches, and other bird species.
You will see the famous Hot springs in Kidepo and get to know how they relate to the local/indigenous communities.
You should go see the border between Uganda and South Sudan before returning to your lodge.

Fly to Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Air field

Wake up to have breakfast, checkout, and be driven to the Kidepo Valley Airfield for Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield in Kampala.
You will then connect to your international flight.
