Safari in Jozani, Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will visit Jozani Forest, Zanzibar’s largest protected natural forest and home to the endemic red colobus monkey. Accompanied by a local guide, you will follow the forest trails while discovering the diverse plant and animal species found within this unique ecosystem.

As you walk through the lush surroundings, you may hear a variety of birds and have the opportunity to spot the red colobus monkeys moving through the trees. Your guide will share interesting information about the forest, its wildlife, and the importance of its conservation. After the visit, you will return to your accommodation and have the rest of the day to relax or enjoy the beach at your own pace.

Visit Stone Town and Spice Tour, Zanzibar

After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will begin your Stone Town tour. You will explore the winding streets, admire the impressive architecture, and visit some of the town’s historic landmarks, including the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and Forodhani Gardens.

You will then proceed to a Spice Tour, where you will discover why Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island”. The island is famous for spices such as cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper. During the tour, you will see the spices growing in their natural environment and learn about their traditional, medicinal, and culinary uses. You will also have the opportunity to sample some of the fresh produce.

In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Depending on your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your Zanzibar beach holiday.
