Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, there will be a routine clearance process. Once through, you will meet our company professional tour driver-guide who will receive and brief you on your 10 day experiential safari in Uganda– the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, you will transfer to the booked accommodation. You will check in and rest to recover from jet lag and adjust to the time difference.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You will have a relaxed breakfast and at about 7 am, and after embark on a journey to Kibale Forest NP. The park is popular for its primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Grey Cheeked Mangabeys. You will reach Kibale in time to enjoy your lunch at the booked accommodation, relax and settle in after your journey.

Later, after some rest, you set out to explore the Kibale beautiful Crater lakes if you love scenery, primates, and bird sightings. You will enjoy a guided hike to the scenic lakes each with a stunning views and opportunities for birdwatching.

Day 3

Chimps trekking & Bigodi wetland walk

Chimps trekking & Bigodi wetland walk

Early morning after breakfast then head out to the briefing centre where you will be briefed on the do's and don’t's during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will start your chimpanzee trekking expedition in the Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger guide. The presence of primates here will surely amaze you. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour in their presence observing them in their natural habitat.

Later, after lunch, head out for the Bigodi Wetlands excursion. Bigodi boasts an extensive array of bio-diversity including a number of primates and birds. Thereafter, you will return to the accommodation and rest.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach Queen Elizabeth NP early enough to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for game viewing. During the game drive, look out for wild animals like reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephants, lions and buffaloes to mention but a few.

Alternatively, you can choose to go for the breathtaking explosion crater drive. It is a sightseeing drive with a spectacular view of the magnificent scenery in and around Queen Elizabeth NP. There is also some wildlife to see along the drive, although the most common sights are of Cape buffaloes and elephants. Return to hotel for relaxation, dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5

Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise

Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will explore the vast savanna plains of Kasenyi and search for iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes and many more. Your guide will help you sport wildlife and provide information about the park.

Return to the accommodation for some rest and lunch. After lunch, you will go for a 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel a natural waterway that connects Lakes George and Edward. During the trip, you will enjoy sightings of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also see a variety of birds along the water shores.
You will have dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 6

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and thereafter, embark on a scenic journey to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP which is famously known for its resident tree climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70%, though sometimes they are hard to spot, especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey. Should you get the chance to spot them, the sight will be spectacular!

From Ishasha, proceed to the accommodation close to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in to your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 7

Gorilla trekking experience

Gorilla trekking experience

Have a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for briefing. You will be briefed about the rules and regulations of the Gorilla trekking experience by a ranger guide. Thereafter, you embark on the trekking adventure through the dense forest of Bwindi. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.

The time it takes and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants, is unforgettable.

Return to the accommodation, check out, and transfer to Kisoro, located close to Mgahinga Gorilla NP. Overnight at Travelers.

Wake up early, have breakfast and drive to the park headquarters. You will receive a briefing from a ranger-guide on the do's and don’ts during the trekking.

Thereafter, you will enter the Mgahinga Forest for the golden monkey trek with a knowledgeable guide, these creatures are more playful and curious making for a unique wildlife experience. You will spend time observing and photographing them as they go about their route activities in the forest.

From the golden monkey trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and overnight stay. Lake Bunyonyi is a picturesque lake known for its stunning scenery and tranquil atmosphere.

After your relaxed breakfast you will set out for a thrilling boat cruise on the Lake Bunyonyi exploring its iconic islands including most famous one "Punishment Island". Thereafter, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park a journey that takes approximately 2 hours. You arrive at the accommodation in Lake Mburo in time for lunch and spend the afternoon/evening relaxing. At 6:30 pm, you will head out for the breathtaking Mburo night game drive. During the game drive, expect to see nocturnal creatures including Civets, hyenas, owls and the elusive leopards among others.

After your breakfast in a company of a ranger, you will head out for an early nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park. This nature walk offers a perfect opportunity to connect with nature observe wildlife up close, you will enjoy your time exploring the wonders of Lake Mburo National Park.

Thereafter you check out and embark on your return journey to Entebbe
Airport for your outbound departure. Remember to make a stop at the Uganda Equator line mark for some memorable photos while on your safari in the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, proceed to Entebbe Airport where your driver/guide will gladly drop you off.
