Welcome to Tanzania and the beginning of your honeymoon safari. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

Take the evening to relax and settle into Tanzania after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your lodge, have a romantic dinner and prepare for the days ahead.

Your safari team will also brief you about the upcoming journey to Serengeti, including your flight arrangements and private safari experience.

Serengeti fly in game drive

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park. Flying directly to Serengeti allows you to spend more time enjoying your honeymoon rather than travelling long distances by road.

As you approach Serengeti, the scenery changes to endless plains, acacia trees and the landscapes that have made this region one of Africa's most celebrated safari destinations.

Upon arrival, your private guide will meet you at the airstrip and begin your first game drive. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy several hours of wildlife viewing as you make your way toward Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti.

The Serengeti is home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and wildebeest. Your guide will choose the best areas for wildlife viewing based on the season and recent animal movements.

Wake up to the extraordinary surroundings of Serengeti and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting out for a full-day private game drive.

Today gives you the opportunity to explore different parts of the Serengeti in search of wildlife. Your private guide can tailor the day around your interests, whether you would like to focus on predators, elephants, large herds, photography or simply enjoy the landscape at a relaxed pace.

You may encounter lions resting beneath trees, cheetahs scanning the plains, elephants moving between feeding areas and large herds of wildebeest and zebra.

For an unforgettable honeymoon experience, an optional hot-air balloon safari can be arranged. The experience begins early in the morning, flying quietly above the Serengeti as the sun rises over the plains. After landing, enjoy a special bush breakfast before continuing with your safari.

Serengeti fly out to Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro or Arusha

Enjoy breakfast at Four Seasons before your final morning in Serengeti. Depending on your flight time, you may have the opportunity for a short morning game drive before heading to the airstrip.

From Serengeti, you have several options for the next stage of your honeymoon:
Option 1: Fly from Serengeti to Arusha and continue with your onward journey. Your safari ends with a private transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Option 2: Extend your honeymoon to Zanzibar. Fly directly from Serengeti to Zanzibar and continue your trip with relaxing days on the island, enjoying its beaches, resorts and Indian Ocean atmosphere.

Option 3: Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater. Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a crater game drive and an additional night in the Ngorongoro Highlands. After exploring the crater, you can either depart Tanzania or continue your honeymoon to Zanzibar.

Your honeymoon can be extended according to your travel plans.
