Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airpor, our safari manager or guide will meet and welcome you to Arusha Tanzania. You'll be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha city, where you'll spend the night in comfort. And he will provide to you a briefly information about your safari then he will leave you for overnight in your hotel.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

You'll be picked up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 am and embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Spend the entire day indulging in a thrilling game drive amidst the park's stunning landscapes. Later, head to Marera View Lodge for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Located 115km from Arusha, Tarangire National Park spans an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including a large population of elephants, as well as iconic baobab trees and the Tarangire River, from which the park derives its name. Following breakfast, we embark on a journey traversing the rugged road to Lake Eyasi, another stunning soda lake nestled in the Rift Valley. Arriving in the afternoon, we engage in a captivating cultural interaction with the Tatoga community, known for their fascinating traditions and way of life. Guided by a Tatoga local, we explore the dry and rugged landscape, encountering the Hadzabe or Watindiga bushmen, who still maintain their ancient hunting and gathering lifestyle, reminiscent of humanity's past survival methods. Additionally, we learn about the Datoga community, also known as the Barabaig or Mang’ati, who historically competed with the Maasai over grazing land. This immersive experience offers a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of the region.

Day 5

We begin our day early with a hunting tour alongside the bushmen, followed by a hearty breakfast back at the lodge. Afterward, we set off for Lake Manyara, where a full day game drive awaits. Inside the park, you'll marvel at the sight of tree-climbing lions and the abundance of flamingos drawn to the algae-rich waters of the lake. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a hot spring and explore the Maasai boma to learn about their culture and traditions. Later in the day, we'll drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
