Flying From Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Game drive)

Our professional driver will pick you up from the hotel at 4:00hr AM to Zanzibar International Airport (But is depending on the location of your hotel) at 06:00 AM You will fly to the Mtemere Airstrip after 50 minutes you will be at Nyerere National Park where you will do a full-day game drive on arrival.

During the game drive, you will experience a lot of things since Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve) is the perfect destination for wildlife. You can get up close and personal with lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, leopards, giraffes, zebras and many other species that inhabit the reserve.

In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch and time to rest, then continue with the game drive until evening or sunset. You will head to Camp for dinner, overnight and prepare for the next day's schedule.

Boat Safari, Game Drive & Flying to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will go to the Rufiji River for the one and a half hours boat safari. During your boat safari, there is a great chance of spotting the hippos, crocodiles and birds whereby this park is home to over 350 birds' species, and the river is where they congregate in great numbers, easily seen in the open environment. Its birder paradise, with so many species to spot and marvel at. Our professional driver will pick you up for a game drive in Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) at 1:30 PM you will stop for lunch and enjoy a short break before continuing the game drive until 03:30 PM. You will go to the Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Depending on your requirements, we can drop you off at the airport or a hotel.
