Day 1

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Upon your arrival, you will be picked up from JKIA, SGR Nairobi Terminal, hotel, or place of residence and drive to Amboseli National Park with brief stops on the way. Upon your arrival in Amboseli, you'll check in for lunch, followed by an afternoon rest, and later head for an evening game drive.

Amboseli is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The name “Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning salty dust, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. You'll explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, savannah, and woodlands, among many other types of wildlife.

Day 2

You'll have breakfast at 7:30 am before heading for a full-day game drive. Try to spot more of Amboseli's wildlife (Africa's Big Four; elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalos), beautiful birds like flamingoes and nature. Take a short hike to Observation Hill, situated in the middle of the park, giving a clear view of the entire park. Later, you'll head for lunch at the Sopa Old Campsite until 2:00 pm before embarking on a short en-route game drive back to the main lodge. Arrive at 4:30 pm for a brief rest and then have dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for the following day.

Day 3

Amboseli - Lake Naivasha National Park

After breakfast, you'll begin the journey to Naivasha via the Nairobi-Mai Mahiu-Nakuru Road. On your way, you’ll have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and the travelers' church. Go on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha (optional activity) and visit Crescent Island with a nature walk to experience a beautiful view of the sunset on the shores of Lake Naivasha after your lunch break at Sawela Lodge. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you'll bid farewell to your cozy lodge and embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon reaching your destination, you'll settle in and indulge in a delicious lunch before unwinding with some leisure time in the afternoon. Following this, you'll venture out for an exhilarating late afternoon safari drive through the park, eagerly seeking out the renowned "Big Four" animals, various bird species including the iconic flamingoes, and other captivating sights the park offers. As the day draws to a close, you'll return to your lodge for a scrumptious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay amidst the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Day 5

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have breakfast, check out by 8:00 am, and embark on your journey to Masai Mara with a short stopover in Narok town for a break. Later, check in for lunch at the camp. After lunch, you’ll rest and later have a game drive until 6:30 pm, when you’ll return for dinner and overnight. During the game drive, you’ll be on the lookout for the African Big Five, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and different bird species, among many other wild animals, with the help of your assigned professional tour guide.

Masai Mara National Reserve, locally known as the Mara, is named in honor of the Maasai people, the ancestral inhabitants of the area. Mara, which means a plain land with small scattered bushes, is recognized worldwide as the home of the 7th Wonder of the World.

Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have breakfast by 7:00 am and head out for a full-day game drive. This will allow you to spot more wildlife animals and visit the border between Masai Mara National Reserve and Serengeti National Reserve. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or experience the wildebeest migration during the migration period between July and September. After the full-day game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

A few stops will be made to visit the gift shops to grab something for your loved ones back home or have some bites before proceeding to your preferred destination in Nairobi. This will mark the end of your wonderful adventure in Kenya.
