On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by Lucas African Adventure representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Early morning after breakfast. We depart to Tarangire National Park. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Overnight stay will be inside the park.

Day 3

Early morning after breakfast. We depart to Tarangire National Park. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. After early breakfast we will drive out of Tarangire National Park heading to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is home to an incredible array of bird life, including thousands of pink-hued flamingos. You can get very close to giraffes, elephants, buffalos and other animals grazing on the shoreline. All from the comfort of your canoe. We will enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our game viewing drive to explore this incredible park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras, wildebeest and antelope. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, we may see the predators, such as leopard, cheetah, and lion plying their rough trade. After a full day of beautiful experience we`ll have a packed lunch we depart for overnight at Embalakai Camp.

After a morning breakfast we`ll head from central Serengeti to northern Serengeti. The Central Serengeti, lying at the heart of this spectacular national park, is the most popular region in the reserve for its abundant wildlife, large numbers of big cats and quintessential Serengeti landscapes. In the Northern Serengeti we will cross Mara River in Kogatende Area. You will experience prime wildlife viewing during a Great Migration safari as tons of different animals from small to large are abundant and full of life during this time of the year. The mega herds move non-stop as they follow the rain, and head to greener pastures. You will witness predators running after the crowds as they prey on large animals. The height of action in Kogatende is at its peak during August. Thus, if you want a remarkable safari tour, this is the best time to head to the Mara River.

After breakfast, our tour guide driver will pick up you and depart for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the natural wonders of Africa it constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, with the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos and many varieties of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a short time. Overnight will spent at Karatu.

We will enjoy an early breakfast and set off to visit Maasai society to see how they conduct their daily activities and to taste their local foods. Later on we will transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for biking safari which you will get a feel of the local flavor of Mto Wa Mbu’s eclectic mix of cultures. Mountain biking ride through the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu. On this ride you visit local farms, schools, church, milling machine a local bar and enjoy the sights and sounds of this vibrant village. Late in the evening we will depart to Arusha city.
