Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your guesthouse. This morning, you'll drive to Tarangire National Park. The transit drive takes about two and a half hours on decent paved roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it. This 'river of warthogs' is the only source of water for wildlife in the area during the dry season. The park is well-known for its elephant families, who may frequently be seen congregating by the river. You might also observe giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeest. Predators such as lions and leopards follow these animals carefully.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is modest but interesting. Everything here is on a different scale. It is both small (one of Africa's narrowest parks) and massive (the Great Rift Escarpment towering over Lake Manyara's western border). The park's namesake is a shallow salt lake. It spans a significant section of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and providing habitat for thousands of wading birds. In the park's dense evergreen forest, you may witness baboons and elephants, as well as tree-climbing lions, which have become well-known throughout Africa.

Main Destination:

Best Time To Visit June to October (Easier to spot animals)
High Season July to March (The northern section gets crowded)

The Serengeti is incredibly breathtaking. It is noted for its broad open grasslands, which provide superb wildlife viewing opportunities. While it has a diverse wildlife population, the yearly Great Migration is undoubtedly its most well-known event. A large number of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope migrate annually in search of new feeding. The migration can occur at any time of year; you simply need to know where to look!

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.
When you first visit Ngorongoro Crater, it seems like a forgotten world. Hidden behind the sheer volcanic walls lies a natural environment with wide savannah, patches of acacia woodland, and shimmering lakes and wetlands. The crater was formed when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago.
The drive down into the crater is an adventure in and of itself, and once on the crater floor, you are rapidly surrounded by vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The crater offers the best possibility of sighting the endangered black rhino, which can occasionally be found on the open grasslands.

Main Destination:
Ngorongoro Crater
Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
High Season Most of the year – July to March (Expect crowds)
