Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Have an early morning start and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive by road transfer and enjoy a scenic drive to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp. After check-in and a relaxed lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. This is a great introduction to the Mara’s rich wildlife, with chances to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and other plains game. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Today, there are unlimited game drives! You will have excellent opportunities to spot some of Africa's most notable species, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, and many more. You will also have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the Great Migration, from July through October.

To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you should take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost.
