Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park

Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and take you to the Zanzibar Airport. Upon arrival at Nyerere National Park, you will meet our professional tour guide at Mtemere airstrip, who will take you on a morning game drive until evening. You will have a bush lunch during the day, and then be taken to the lodge to relax before the evening/night game drive in the park.

Nyerere Game Drive, Hot Spring Tour and Boat Riding

After breakfast, we will drive to the park for a full game drive. You will have the opportunity to visit hot springs near the mountains, where you can swim. Later in the afternoon, we will have a bush launch. After the Bush lunch, you will have an opportunity to view the beautiful landscape of Nyerere National Park. The park is home to several species of wildlife, including lions, wildebeests, Masai giraffes, zebras, hippopotamuses, antelopes, hyenas, African wolves, and a large number of crocodiles in the Rufiji River. Additionally, the park is known for its prolific population of African Wild Dogs. After the game drive, you will have a private boat safari trip in the evening before dinner and overnight.

Morning to afternoon Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

In the morning, you'll drive to the bush where you'll get to experience sunrise, and bird watching. After the walk, we'll head back to the lodge for breakfast. Following breakfast, we'll start waking safari to the Maasai boma where you'll get to experience how the Maasai people live in the bush and participate in some activities with them. Later, we'll drive to Mtemere strip where we'll be ready to head back to Zanzibar. Our driver will pick you up from the Zanzibar airstrip and take you to your hotel.
