The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffes buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large number), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed oxpecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller.

Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park.
Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope.

Sanje Waterfalls in Udzungwa Mountains
After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park with your picnic lunch. Hiking to Sanje Waterfalls in Udzungwa Mountains.
The Udzungwa Mountains National Park, which is 1990 sq. kms. Is the first terrestrial National park in Tanzania. It is well known for its biologically diverse forest, with approximately 20 – 30% out of 200 animals and plant species that grow here not found any where in the world. Still it is really beautiful place for hiking. It is one of the top ten forests for bird conservation in Africa. Wildlife Variety of animal species can be found here, including water buffalo, leopards, elephants, and full of reptiles and snakes and more.
