The Ngorongoro Crater is a truly breathtaking place and offers the best chance in East Africa to see the Big Five lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo all in one location. It is recognized as one of the 8th Wonders of the World and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Conservation Area is incredibly diverse, with mountain forests, woodlands, open grasslands, lakes, swamps, and rivers, making it a paradise for both wildlife and nature lovers.

Lake Manyara to Arusha

After an early breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game viewing with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the afternoon, after your game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, marking the end of your safari.

Although small in size, Lake Manyara National Park is incredibly rich in wildlife. The park covers 330 sq km (127 sq miles), with much of it made up of the beautiful lake when water levels are high. It is one of the best places for bird watching, and you can also spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, baboons, and, if lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions.

During your game drive, you will also have a chance to step out at the hippo pool, stretch your legs, and safely watch hippos in their natural habitat.
