Your safari adventure begins today! You'll start by getting picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and taken to the airport. After a one-hour flight to Arusha in a small plane, your guide will meet you at Arusha Airport and drive you for about two hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, some of the biggest trees in Africa.

While driving through the park in a vehicle with an open roof, you'll get to see seasonal swamps, savannas, and the Tarangire River, which is teeming with wildlife, including various birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants. Later in the day, you'll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, you'll proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, renowned as a remarkable natural marvel. Housing over 120 species of animals, including the iconic Big Five, it offers an excellent opportunity to witness the solitary grazing of endangered black rhinoceros and observe numerous hippos cooling off in the water. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll have the privilege to photograph and observe Africa's renowned wildlife.

The crater boasts a diverse ecosystem, home to predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside a plethora of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, cape buffaloes, and more, establishing itself as one of Africa's premier safari destinations. Following an exhilarating day, relish a picnic lunch near the famed hippo pool in the park, followed by a final game drive. Later, you'll depart the crater, returning to Arusha for dinner and accommodation.

Day 3

Arusha National Park - Zanzibar

Today, after breakfast, embark on a drive to Arusha National Park. The park features diverse landscapes including swamps, grasslands, and forests, with Mount Meru's rainforested slopes. Encounter unique wildlife such as black-and-white colobus monkeys and flamingos at Momella Lake. A walking safari allows for close observation of these animals. Following a midday picnic lunch, enjoy a final tour of the park before returning to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro for a flight back to Zanzibar.
