5-Day Authentic Kruger Tour

Arrival

You will arrive to Kruger National Park via a direct flight from OR Tambo Int to Skukuza Airport, this is short 1hour flight departing late morning via a commercial plane.
Your guide will be at the airport to meet and greet and after your luggage collection your safari tour begins. You will have lunch at the camp restaurant and after head onto exploring Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle.
In the late afternoon you will check-in to Lower Sabie in a safari tent, this is a permanent structure with 2 beds and private bathroom. Your dinners will be freshly prepared each night usually on the camp fire enjoying our traditional braai.

Exploring Kruger

Your day start very early ahead of the sunrise for a morning safari exploring the south of Kruger National Park. You will spend most of your day in the safari vehicle looking for wildlife sightings, there will be few hours around lunch to allow you to reset before another afternoon safari.
Our guides are always looking to make the best of your safari experience and the itinerary and daily planning might change last minute if your guide decides another route is best for a certain day.
Some of the meals will be on route using some of the Park picnic spots or restaurants.
In the evening you will return to your accommodation in the rest camp before the gate closing time and you will enjoy dinner under the stars by the camp fire.

Traveling trough Kruger

On day 3 you will check-out from your accommodation and prepare for a full day of safari experiencing a new part of Kruger. On this day you will learn about the vast expansion of the park and witness the change of landscape and wildlife. Your next 2 nights will be spent at Tamboti Satellite Camp, this is rustic and hidden location by the dry river bed where you will have a more secluded stay.
This location will offer you a new area to explore with your guide on safari in search for wildlife sightings.

Central Kruger

Another early morning wake-up on day 4 preparing for a new day of safari. Each morning your guide will prepare fresh coffee and rusks to make the 4h30 wake-up a bit easier.
On this day you will have 2 separate safaris, one in the morning and one in the afternoon with a return to the camp at lunch time for a meal and a bit of relaxation.

Departure

On the last day you will have one last early morning safari and check-out after breakfast. Depending on your flight time you will exit the Park at Orpen gate and head towards Hoedspruit Airport for your prearranged direct flight back to Johannesburg, this is a short 1hour flight.
