3-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Hike, Tarangire & Ngorongoro

Kilimanjaro Airport/ Moshi to Kilimanjaro (Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut)

Our guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport ( Morning) or your hotel in Moshi at 8:00 a.m. After a quick briefing, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro National Park's eastern entrance: Marangu Gate (1,860 m/6,046 ft). After the quick formality of registering the climbing permits and registering with the rescue service, the group will start trekking up to Mandara Hut (2,700 m/8,858 ft.). The trekking route includes a passage through the rainforest where tropical showers are highly probable, so we recommend taking raincoats.
When you reach the camp, you will be provided with lunch boxes.
After lunch, you can take a hike to the beautiful Maundi Crater nearby. It will take about 30 minutes, after which you will start your descent down to the exit of the park —Marangu gate. Our driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel in Moshi.

Drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, after breakfast at your hotel. Your driver-guide will pick you up at 7:30 AM. You will drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Full-day game drive viewing a herd of elephants, leopards, zebras, lions, antelopes, oryx, and many more animals. You will also explore the Tarangire River, the river provides refuge for the wild animals in the park, and drive late afternoon to the Highview Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will go on a game drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The animals in the crater, especially the rare black rhino, can be easily spotted early in the morning when their tracks are closer to the roads. They like to take shelter in the thicker, forested areas during the day. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for the abundance of animals and birds that can be spotted at very close range. You will be provided with a picnic lunch inside the park. Later in the day, you will drive back to Arusha and drop you off at your hotel in Arusha, which marks the end of this trip.
