A phenomenal Safari Adventure

Our experience with Zara Tours began years ago with a Kilimanjaro climb, which left a strong impression and brought us back again. This safari journey proved just as impressive. Zayina handled the planning with care and professionalism, ensuring everything flowed effortlessly. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater and were rewarded with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Tarimo was an excellent guide whose knowledge and instincts led to remarkable game drives. The accommodations were comfortable, well positioned and perfect for unwinding after each day. This trip will remain a highlight of our travels.

Booked 9 day safari with Zara via safaribookings.com. Absolutely great experience. Promptly picked up from Arusha airport. Our hotel in Arusha was Gold crest suites. Excellent hotel and service. Visited Tarangiri, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Lake Maynard, lake essyo etc. Absolutely enjoyed our tour, these national parks are most beautiful places. Our guide cum driver Ibrahim was an excellent skillful driver. He knows exactly how to spot animals in every park. He was tremendously helpful and treated us very well. Traveling with such a caring person made our trip memorable. Definitely recommend Zara tours to everyone. Ask for Ibrahim.

Climbing Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route with our guides, Clinton and Khatib from Zara Tanzania Adventures, was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime adventure 🏔️. The journey took us across dramatic terrain, from dense rainforest to steep, rocky alpine trails, and every day felt like a new challenge. Despite the tough conditions, the entire team stayed upbeat, supportive, and full of positive energy, turning each campsite into a place of laughter and motivation. Clinton’s expert knowledge and constant care helped us push through the high altitude and freezing nights, making us feel safe and confident at every step. The excellent food prepared by Mushi, the quality equipment, and the outstanding level of care kept us strong and focused 💪. Without Clinton’s leadership and the team’s dedication, reaching Uhuru Peak would not have been possible for us.

I organized this trip for our group of six Swiss climbers and was also part of the team. Choosing a Moshi based fully Tanzanian company was important to us and Zara Tours exceeded our expectations from the first day.
We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route with an outstanding team led by our guide Yesse. The weather was excellent with clear days while the nights were cold and windy. Small comforts like coffee brought to our tents great food at every meal and a portable toilet made a big difference. Step by step pole pole we moved from camp to camp and all of us successfully reached Uhuru Peak via Stella Point.
After the climb we enjoyed a five day safari. We saw large herds of elephants in Tarangire and many lions buffalo a cheetah and a leopard in Serengeti Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The lodges and tented camp were excellent.
Our safari guide Suleiman spoke excellent German and together with our driver Festus was extremely knowledgeable and always one step ahead which allowed us to witness unforgettable wildlife moments. Isdory was always available and handled everything perfectly.
We could not have chosen a better team. Thank you very much Zara Tours!

Highly recommend Zara Tanzania, especially for female solo travelers

As a female solo traveler, joining a small group on the 7 day Machame Route with Zara Tanzania was an incredible Kilimanjaro experience 😊 I was also provided with my own solo tent, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the trek.
Our guides, Lema and Bakari, were outstanding, constantly motivating us, monitoring our health, and keeping us safe. The climb was challenging with tough terrain, cold nights, and the effects of altitude, but the extra acclimatization day made a real difference The food was far better than expected, and reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise was unforgettable.
From planning to summit, everything ran smoothly. Isdory was responsive and helpful during the planning process, and the overall value for money was excellent 😊 I would highly recommend Zara Tanzania, especially for female solo travelers.
