Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today you will start your journey from Entebbe or Kampala in the morning to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a 7-8 hours' journey. Have a stop for lunch along the way for lunch. Arrive in the park in the evening and check in at your accommodation. Time allowing, you may have a sunset game drive in the park.

Game drive and boat ride on Kazinga channel

Start your day at 6am and head into the park for a morning game drive. Look out for the lions and herds of grazers. After lunch, you will enjoy a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Check in at your accommodation.

Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu and drive to Bwindi

After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and drive to Kalinzu forest. Here you will be briefed before starting your tracking for habituated chimpanzees in the forest. You will carry a packed lunch. Upon completion, exit the forest and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive to your accommodation afterwards and check in for the night.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national Park

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters from where you shall be briefed and grouped for your Gorilla trekking exercise. Tracking gorillas on average takes 3 – 6 hours depending on how far the animals have moved. You will spend an hour following, observing and photographing the Gorillas as they feed, play, and groom each other. After the experience, you will exit Bwindi and drive to Lake Bunyonyi for the night.

You will have today at leisure to engage in any optional activities of your choice. You take a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, visit an adventure park, visit a local market, walk in the villages or do a cycling tour on Lake Bunyonyi. These tours can be booked on the day with the help of your safari guide.
