Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

You will get picked up in the morning from Dar by our expert guides early morning. You will begin a 5-6 hour road journey, making a pitstop in Morogoro for a quick breakfast before proceeding to Mikumi. Along the way, you'll marvel at the captivating views of Uluguru Mountain and its scenic surroundings. You'll arrive at the park and start your game drive, then break for lunch. Watch the sunset with a glass of wine as you conclude your safari experience. This unique experience offers the chance to witness wild animals such as lions, leopards, elephants and hyenas. You will conclude the day with a restful overnight stay at the Midrange Lodge.

The day begins with an early rise for a refreshing morning game drive, offering prime opportunities to spot wildlife in action. After an exhilarating start, we pause for a delightful breakfast in the wild, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Continuing our exploration of Mikumi, we uncover hidden gems and encounter fascinating wildlife at every turn. A picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park provides a moment of relaxation amidst nature's splendour, or have a lunch hour break at the lodge, then relax and proceed evening gamedrive. The adventure continues with another thrilling game drive, followed by the magical experience of watching the African sunset from a stunning vantage point. Depending on the schedule and preferences, there may be opportunities to include additional activities such as cultural visits, guided nature walks, or visits to nearby attractions before concluding the trip.

Our final with hearts full of unforgettable memories. Wake up and relax after your breakfast before we pack up and prepare to depart from Mikumi National Park. We head to Maasai village visit for a cultural excursion As we journey onwards, we carry with us the sights, sounds, and experiences of an incredible safari adventure in Tanzania. We will stop for a hot lunch at a restaurant on our way back to Dar.
