Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Today, your safari adventure begins! After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00am for a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. You'll reach the park gate around 10:00am and, after check-in, start your game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and tree-climbing lions, as well as wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. The park is also home to unique baobab trees, some over 8,000 years old. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Tarangire River picnic site, with expansive views over the plains. Afterward, continue with a game drive until late evening, then head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park

Following breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the park's gate and begin the adventure. Lake Manyara National Park is home to 400 bird species, and it is a paradise for bird enthusiasts. The park also contains water buffalo, zebras, antelopes, wildebeests, and the world's largest concentration of baboons. Occasionally, you can spot the tree-climbing lions that the park is famous for. Lunch will be enjoyed at the picnic site in the afternoon, before proceeding with the game drive until evening. After the game drive, you will exit the park and drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you wake up early with your packed breakfast and drive off to the Ngorongoro Crater for a gamedrive. Within the massive walls of the crater, there are a variety of habitats that support a diverse range of animals and birds. Around 25000 - 30000 large animals live in the Crater, making it one of the densely populated wildlife areas in Africa. It is one of the few places in Africa where visitors can reliably spot all of the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). As the day progresses, pause to enjoy breakfast at the hippo pool picnic site. After breakfast, proceed with the gamedrive until later in the day when you will ascend the Crater and drive to your accommodation in Serengeti.

Following breakfast, drive out to enjoy a full day gamedrive in the Central Serengeti. The Central Serengeti is renowned for its rich biodiversity, offering unique wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the year. Central Serengeti, particularly the Seronera valley, is known as the "Big Cat capital of Africa" due to its predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. This part has a diverse population of other animals, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and other grazers. In the afternoon, you'll pause to enjoy lunch, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Today, your adventure begins early before sunrise in Central Serengeti, with a packed breakfast. It is a good time to spot animals at their most active, especially animals like lions and leopards. Later in the day, you’ll embark on a three-hour journey to the Northern Serengeti. Here, you’ll witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles as vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes gather in search of fresh grazing lands. Sometimes they brave the Mara River, filled with crocodiles, on their way to the Masai Mara in Kenya. This dramatic scene also draws predators, creating intense wildlife encounters. In the afternoon, pause to enjoy lunch. After lunch, you will keep exploring until later in the evening, when you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

If you haven't seen the migration on the previous days, today might be your day. Keep exploring Northern Serengeti until afternoon when you enjoy lunch at the picnic site. After lunch drive towards your accommodation at lake Natron for dinner and overnight. If time allows you will enjoy the tour at this place, known for its mesmerizing landscape.

Also, the lake is a haven for the Flamingos. Every dry season, millions of lesser flamingos flock here to breed, drawn by the lake’s abundant food supply and relative safety from predators. After exploring the area, you'll return to your lodge, enjoy lunch, and depart back to your accommodation in Arusha.
