Explore Masai Mara

Your day starts with an early morning pre-breakfast drive. This is the best time to spot animals as they are active before the heat of the sun. You will return to the camp for breakfast, after which you will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the great migration, when in season (July TO October). The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra, matched by the drama of predators who lie in wait for them, are a magnificent sight.

For more experiences, you may want to enjoy several optional activities offered at an extra cost. This includes a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. You can also take a pre-dawn hot-air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.

After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five, among other animals. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
